The latest compilation of sea surface temperature during the Last Glacial Maximum is available from the MARGO Project. This compilation includes SST estimates based on the abundance and composition of surface-dwelling planktonic microfossils such as radiolaria, diatoms, planktonic foraminifera, dinoflagellates, or specific organic compounds produced in surface waters such as alkenones.
